Quantification of the resilience of integrated energy systems using dynamic simulation

This paper demonstrates the use of dynamic simulation to model and assess resilience an integrated energy system. First, several approaches from field assessment are evaluated, most suitable is chosen adapted develop a metric that applicable results. Second, as proof concept, system (gas, heat power sector) presented evaluated using introduced metric. To demonstrate how changes in architecture influence resilience, two modifications tested. It can be shown quantify suggestions for improvements. Therefore, it also added compared other quantitative metrics such CO2 emissions or costs.
